The Quantum Matrix is our proprietary framework for assessing the quantum computing industry. It plots 21 companies across two axes, Commercial Readiness and Technical Trajectory, and assigns each to one of four energy-state quadrants. The full methodology is proprietary, but the positions, the quadrant assignments, and the stories they tell are public. This is our first publication of the framework, and we intend to update it periodically as the industry evolves.
The framework draws from publicly available data, including SEC filings, earnings calls, press releases, and technical publications.
